Lauren is a family law and business law associate.
Lauren represents family law clients in every stage of the divorce or parentage process. She has extensive litigation experience, however, her practice is informed by her mediation training and is resolution oriented. Lauren assists business clients with entity formation, the purchase and sale of businesses, and drafting and review of contracts.
Before entering private practice, Lauren worked as a Legal Assistant for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security in Washington, DC. During law school, Lauren interned for the Honorable Florence Y. Pan at the District of Columbia Superior Court. Lauren also interned at the Fraud Section of the Criminal Division at the Department of Justice, supporting federal prosecutors on Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) cases as well as securities fraud and mortgage fraud cases. Lauren was an Articles Editor for The Public Contract Law Journal. Her Note on enforcement of the FCPA was published in 2012.
