Diane Lieu
Having worked in Seoul and San Francisco, Diane Lieu has extensive experience globally and locally. She interned every summer in Seoul, South Korea during her university years, and was employed at Kia Motors Corporation, one of the largest Korean companies, upon graduation.
While in law school, she continued to maintain her professional interest in Korea, and pursued her legal internships there. Upon graduation, she returned to the Hyundai-Kia Motor Group, where she worked as in-house counsel for Hyundai Rotem Company.
After working for several years in Seoul, she decided to return to San Francisco, where she contracted her legal services to law firms working directly with Korean companies.
Diane’s focus has always been, and continues to be, the client: having a great understanding of client needs, with an emphasis on resolving complex legal issues out of court but willing to pursue litigation when warranted, as well as being a culturally sensitive and highly trustworthy advocate.
She has been working in family law since 2021, assisting clients navigate the emotional and complex legal landscape of this field, including handling divorces, asset division, child custody, spousal support, domestic violence cases, and prenuptial agreements.
She is fluent in Korean, and taking Mandarin classes.
