Barbara Youngman is a founding partner of Youngman Reitshtein, PLC. Barbara represents clients in all areas of family law, including divorce, child and spousal support, division of community assets, pre and post-nuptial agreements, as well as domestic violence actions.
Barbara is a second generation lawyer, originally from Brooklyn, New York, and has been a family law practitioner in Beverly Hills, California for over twenty years.
Barbara has extensive experience representing family law clients through litigation, mediation or collaborative divorce proceedings.
In addition to her private practice, Barbara has served as an adjunct professor at Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, and volunteers regularly as a mediator at Loyola Law School’s Center for Conflict Resolution.
Barbara was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. After living in Europe for seven months, Barbara returned to New York where she started a twelve year stint in advertising. A year after their wedding, Barbara and her husband relocated to Beverly Hills, where they started their family, and Barbara went to law school.
